FedWriters is building a team to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division in providing technical data packages and other services for Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Technical Manual development, maintenance and management. As a Senior Logistician III you will develop and review Naval shipboard technical documentation, verify technical manual applicability data against authorized sources, update system databases with critical reference information, and support the creation of technical documentation for ship systems while ensuring accuracy of integrated logistical elements.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 6am to 6pm at NSWCPD in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and review Naval shipboard technical documentation and materials.
- Assist with developing IETMs and digitally formatted TMs for Naval systems and equipment.
- Review Tech Manual applicability data against APL/RIC sources such as CDMD-OA, TM parts lists, etc.
- Review APL/AEL characteristics and validity in databases such as SCLSIS, Haystack, and Logicom.
- Update MBPS with primary and secondary RICs and hulls.
- Notify NSWCPD of discrepancies with regard to TM applicability.
- Support the development of Signal Flow Diagrams (SFDs) for ship systems.
- Contribute to the development and updating of TMs as a result of Feedbacks.
- Track feedback incorporation from assignment through to distribution to the Fleet.
Qualifications
- High school, trade, industrial school, or GED equivalent, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Logistician.
- Requires Secret level security clearance.
- Experience developing, modifying, and reviewing Naval shipboard technical documentation and materials.
- Experience with integrated logistical system (ILS) elements (Tech Manuals, Preventative Maintenance System (PMS), Provisioning, and Operating Procedures).
- Experience in support of maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, and/or alteration of Naval Ship HM&E and Electronic/Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.
