We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiting Lead to drive full lifecycle recruiting efforts for highly specialized, high-clearance roles supporting national security and defense programs. This position will focus on identifying and securing top-tier talent in areas such as engineering, data science, cybersecurity, research and development, reverse engineering, and information operations, with an emphasis on mission-critical capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience sourcing and engaging highly cleared (TS/SCI, CI Poly, FS Poly) technical professionals and a deep understanding of the complexities of recruiting for government contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct full lifecycle recruiting, including requisition management, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
  • Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with top candidates through both active and passive sourcing techniques, leveraging advanced tools such as Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, and ClearedJobs.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract highly cleared professionals for specialized technical roles.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop strategic recruiting approaches tailored to evolving contract and program needs.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for contingent hiring efforts, supporting proposal development and ensuring readiness for contract awards.
  • Ensure compliance with government hiring regulations, security clearance requirements, and program-specific recruiting policies.
  • Track and manage candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure an efficient hiring process.
  • Provide market intelligence on salary benchmarks, industry hiring trends, and talent availability within the DoD and IC space.


Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting, proposal-based recruiting, and contract-specific hiring strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining strong candidate relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience structuring offers and closing highly sought-after cleared professionals.
  • Familiarity with CO-OP and internship programs, including partnership development with universities and research institutions.
  • Knowledge of alternative hiring pathways, including direct sourcing, competitive intelligence gathering, and passive candidate engagement beyond traditional job boards.
  • Understanding of how business development and proposal efforts impact hiring pipelines and talent acquisition strategy.


Required Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on high-clearance DoD and IC positions.
  • Proven success in sourcing and securing highly cleared candidates (TS/SCI, CI Poly, FS Poly) for technical roles.
  • Expertise in active and passive sourcing, including deep engagement with professional networks, online talent communities, and referral pipelines.
  • Experience leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and clearance-focused job boards.
  • Experience developing evolving recruiting strategies to attract niche, highly cleared technical talent.
  • Track record of implementing innovative sourcing techniques, such as talent mapping, technical networking events, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Experience working with SWAT-style or rapid-response recruiting teams to fulfill urgent or hard-to-fill positions.

Preferred
  • AIRS Certification (Certified Internet Recruiter or Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter) is a plus.
