BTI360 is seeking a highly motivated junior-level individual who is eager to be mentored and grow in all areas of industrial security. This role will serve as an Alternate Facility Security Officer (A/FSO) and Alternate Contractor Security Officer (A/CSO), assisting with program security for BTI360’s Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) contracts. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with government agencies and company security policies, providing essential security advice, guidance, and risk mitigations.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with various business areas to support security activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, potentially involving direct onsite support.
Enter and reconcile teammate data and information in the system of record.
Oversee and maintain document control inventories for teammate security information.
Develop and deliver briefings/debriefings for activities such as new hires, annual trainings, and terminations.
Author and maintain security operational plans for program implementation.
Process security clearances and accesses in accordance with government regulations (DoD and IC).
Provide status updates and metrics on the completion of security paperwork and clearance submissions.
Handle Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and report sensitive adverse information to various government customers.
Interface with background investigators for periodic reinvestigations.
Implement compliance-based changes to existing company security procedures as needed.
Assist with the development of security operations plans.
Provide checks and balances on document control, personnel, and combination records for Secure Space.
Respond to after-hours alarms and emergency conditions as needed.
Perform courier duties in the local area as needed.
Assist in other security areas for inspections, events, and special activities.
Perform administrative and general office duties, including light contract reviews and data call support.
You may thrive in this role if you have the following skills:
Active TS/SCI clearance, and be willing to obtain a polygraph
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), 32 CFR part 117, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEAD)
Proficient in DoD DISS/NBIS, NISS, SWFT, eQIP/eAPP
Knowledge of OPSEC requirements; classified and sensitive FOUO, CUI information
Must have the ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations and decisions on a daily basis
Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
