Special Projects Intern

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a Special Projects Intern to assist in scanning archived records into a digital library, writing process and procedure documents in collaboration with the operations manager, and general office duties.

Essential Functions

• Preparing large volumes of documentation for scanning
• Creating a digital filing system that allows for ease of locating forms at a later date
• Organizing archived paperwork
• Handling sensitive information and keeping it secure
• Documenting, formatting, and generating standard operating procedures (SOPs) with the assistance of the operations manager
• Support the front office by answering incoming calls, welcoming visitors, scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes, and coordinate business lunches as needed
• Stocking and filing

Education / Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education

Experience

• One year prior office experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
• Frequently required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range

$20 - $25 USD
