Key Duties:
- Support the stand-up of a complex program.
- Identify testing needs and execute strategic planning for a safe and efficient shop floor.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, safety, and production teams.
- Create Manufacturing Test Engineering Statement of Work requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle test issues, implement process improvements.
- Develop shop aid tooling, analyze performance, and support quality in root cause analysis.
- Active secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or CE enrollment required
- Testing and troubleshooting aircraft sub-systems (fuel, hydraulics, electrical, etc.).
- Acting as Test Conductor/Director for air vehicle testing.
- Authoring test procedures and plans for air vehicle systems.
- Operating specialized test equipment.
- Wire harness and interconnect installation/integration.
- Aircraft sub-systems assembly and integration.
- Hands-on production floor support and interfacing with touch-labor employees.
- Experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) like hydraulic mules, power carts, cooling air carts.
- Knowledge of airworthiness, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
- Ability to develop testing setups with minimal direction.
- STEM degree required.
- Flight line operations and ground support activities.
- Presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Support for development/prototype programs.
- Jet engine integration and maintenance.
- Determining regression testing during rework or troubleshooting.
- Conducting safety briefs/huddles.
- Understanding aircraft system operation to an IPT level.
- Testing prototype air vehicles.
- Manufacturing Engineer role experience.
- Proficiency in Teamcenter and Catia V5 software.
