Role Overview
Position: AFSIM Mission Analyst
Location: Beavercreek, Ohio
Duration: 9 months (Contract)
Job Description
As an AFSIM Mission Analyst, you'll combine technical skills with strategic thinking to impact national defense and combat weapon system design. Your main responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating combat weapon systems using analytical tools like Excel, Matlab, and the AFSIM framework.
- Developing skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis.
- Performing constructive modeling and simulation of combat operations.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Experience with analytical assessments of systems.
- Proficiency in Matlab, C++, or Perl.
- Ability to follow Operational Analysis principles.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with AFSIM framework.
- Knowledge of U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and articulate complex insights.
- Secret clearance.
Clearance Level: Secret
· This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
· Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required
