As Integrated Platform Solution Specialist you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex SharePoint and web-based solutions to support the customer's mission. This includes delivering hardware integration services and ensuring full-lifecycle compliance with standardized software development practices. An average day:
As Integrated Platform Solution Specialist you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex SharePoint and web-based solutions to support the customer's mission. This includes delivering hardware integration services and ensuring full-lifecycle compliance with standardized software development practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce secure, scalable, and user-friendly platforms, leveraging both current and emergent technologies in alignment with government requirements. In this position you will:
- Develop and maintain software and workflows, plus integrate hardware, in support of the station's mission, ensuring alignment with standardized processes and government requirements.
- Provide full-lifecycle development-including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing/quality assurance, integration, configuration management, authorization, and documentation-for corporate information systems, databases, web-based applications, and COTS/GOTS systems.
- Adhere to a standardized software development process using development, testing, and production environments; produce prototypes for Government approval and transition them into production once approved.
- Ensure all source code, build, and test functions meet the government's systems development and maintenance team requirements, maintaining code in authorized repositories (e.g., Microsoft TFS, Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA).
- Support a wide range of technologies, including SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online, Azure, Python, ServiceNow, ASP.NET (C#, C++, MVC, WCF, LINQ, AJAX), PowerShell, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Java, SQL/T-SQL/CLR, XML, HTML, CSS, REST, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Design and build production MS SQL-driven applications, incorporating efficient database integration and robust security measures.
- Engineer and customize SharePoint-based enterprise solutions for scalability, maintainability, and compliance with DISA STIGs.
- Develop AJAX-enabled .NET web applications using Visual Studio, version control systems, HTTP, and REST architectures.
- Conduct software developmental testing to validate the correctness and completeness of the software design, producing and maintaining test documentation.
- Develop integration test plans and procedures; execute integration testing to verify system functionality and compliance with requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot application issues, analyzing customer usage to recommend effective technology solutions.
- Provide continuous modernization and optimization of existing software, including migration to newer technologies or platforms as needed.
- Produce comprehensive documentation for all new features, maintenance tasks, and bug fixes, ensuring traceability and adherence to STIG and other security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and maintain alignment with the station's mission and objectives.
- As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
- Minimum of five years of experience related to the development of web-based applications using C#, .NET, and Java technologies, with emphasis on .NET application development
- Minimum of five years securing a web environment in accordance with DISA STIGs.
- Must have experience with the following technologies and tools: C#, .NET, and Java (with emphasis on .NET), MS SQL-driven applications, and SharePoint 2016.
- Experience directly related to the development of MS SQL-driven applications.
- Experience in SharePoint 2016 and the ability to design and engineer SharePoint-based enterprise solutions.
- Must hold a IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Security + Ce is the preferred certification
- Ability to develop AJAX-enabled .NET web applications using version control systems, HTTP, and REST architecture.
- Experience in configuration and administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), the .NET Framework, Kerberos and Directory Services Authentication, PKI, SSL, troubleshooting, configuration, and development.
- Minimum of five years of experience delivering, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in the implementation, integration, and testing of enterprise application, database, and web platforms.
- Experience in using identity management and PKI infrastructure
- Ability to develop Enterprise Solutions using C# .NET application(s) that interface with Active Directory Services and Azure Active Directory
- Experience with SOA development and implementations
- Strong understanding of various programming languages, frameworks and technologies to include: ASP.NET, (C#, C++, Model-View-Controller (MVC), WCF, Data Services, Entity Framework, Language Integrated Query, (LINQ) to SQL, LINQ, AJAX), PowerShell, JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation, Java, SQL/Transact-SQL/Computer Language Research, XML, HTML, CSS, ReST
- Must have an active Interim Secret or Secret Clearance
- May be required to perform duties outside of standard hours of operation in order to support mission requirements, including planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades.
