At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Sr Project Integrator, a typical day will include the following duties:

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will work closely with the PMO, tech leads, other project managers, and various

software engineering, infrastructure, and technical operations teams to assess and triage

requirements, coordinate resources, and deliver projects for the customer. The ideal candidate

has experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and oral

communication skills are critical in order to effectively capture and articulate requirements

from and to both customers and internal teams. The candidate must be at ease working in an

agile environment with little supervision and should be passionate about continuous

improvement and innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and implement standards-based project management lifecycles-tailored to function

effectively in a dynamic environment-to ensure successful delivery of new technologies and

services
  • Provide "servant" leadership to bring about outstanding customer service to our team members

and mission partners.
  • Assist with triage of new customer requirements, planning activities such as roadmap

development, and systems integration and provide recommendations to customer on task

workload
  • Coordinate development of deliverables and products
  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project tasks
  • Collaborate regularly with a variety of customers and contractors, which may include meeting

coordination and preparation/support of project plans, reports, and status (e.g., PMR) briefings
  • Attend customer meetings and potentially serve as primary liaison
  • Understand, follow, and drive priorities in various engagements
  • Work closely with tech leads and various engineers to identify and resolve impediments, and

road blocks
  • Produce detailed notes during meetings to assign, track, and follow up on actions identified to

ensure continued progress
  • Develop metrics, reports, and advanced filters to provide leadership with meaningful

operational/performance metrics and status reports
  • Work with customers to develop Jira projects and workflows
  • "Garden" Confluence spaces to ensure accurate and updated information, policies and

procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and

work/military experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience in project management fundamentals using approved

tools and techniques in the execution of IT activities (e.g., scheduling, execution, and

monitoring/controlling)
  • Demonstrated experience with Atlassian Suite and features, with excellent understanding of

general administration and configuration to maximize efficiency in using the tool
  • Strong understanding of business processes and experience leveraging Atlassian Suite to

maximize and improve those processes
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience effectively communicating across programs and with

customers, stakeholders, and other contractors
  • Ability to effectively manage time and maintain a strong work ethic in a dynamic agile

environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a small team
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills to work with team members to

gather and understand business requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile principals
  • Experience working within a technical environment handling either multiple software

development projects or exceptionally large volumes of data
  • Experience in creating and successfully implementing strategy for customer organizations
  • Microsoft Excel skills
