Job Description
ECS is seeking a Systems Engineer (SME) to work in our Huntsville, AL office. Please note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
ECS is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer (SME) to support cybersecurity operations for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. You will provide leadership and SME support for the Infrastructure Support Team, playing a crucial role supporting the FBI's enterprise cyber organization.
The Infrastructure Support team is responsible for maintaining several systems, and networks that provide the infrastructure platforms for organizational capabilities and data. This team is accountable for system administration, identity and authentication, information system security accreditation, data storage and backup, physical infrastructure maintenance, and automation development. The team ISSOs will be responsible for maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for applications and systems across the enterprise.
Required Skills
• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory
• Understanding of NIST 800 series publications and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance.
• Must currently live within commuting distance to Huntsville, AL or be willing to relocate.
• Security Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility
Desired Skills
• 15+ years of relevant experience; OR
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 10+ years of experience OR;
• Master's degree in relevant field with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere 7
• Experience with Cisco Networking
• Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience
• Familiarity with system accreditation and authorization and the FBI's ATO processes
• Experience evaluating, documenting, and managing NIST 800-53 control implementations
• Experience with GRC tools (RiskVision, Xacta and JCAM)
• One or more of the following active Certifications (or similar):
o Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
o VMware Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
