This is an opportunity to meet challenges in the Department of Defense by collaborating with a development team to develop systems and web applications with user-centric design. You'll work with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using frameworks such as React or Angular.

On our team, you'll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, including React or Angular
  • 3+ years of experience with CSS frameworks, including Bootstrap or Foundation
  • Experience with CSS generators and responsive web design, including mobile and tablet platforms
  • Experience with using Agile software development methods and collaborating with UI/UX designers and back-end developers
  • Experience with usability analysis, testing, and client facing engagements, including design discussions and product demonstrations
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with server-side application development using NodeJS or Python
  • Experience working with US Digital Services Web Design Standards (USWDS)
  • Experience with data security management on DoD classified networks with both client-side and server-side applications
  • Experience with authentication security features and protocols
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Web Development or User Experience Design Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
