That is why we need you, an experienced iCloud Infrastructure engineer to help us keep our critical mission systems running and allow our clients to continue development of new capabilities to support mission critical operations.

As a Cloud Infrastructure System Administrator on our team, you will use your experience to help our clients solve critical IT challenges that help reduce the speed to mission of critical applications and services to our nation's intelligence systems. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining RHEL 6, 7 and 8 server systems
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions
  • 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring and maintaining Windows server systems
  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Terraform
  • Experience assessing security vulnerabilities in software and systems, recommending appropriate mitigations, performing periodic vulnerability scans, implementing vulnerability mitigations, and validating and reporting on vulnerability monitoring, mitigations, and policy compliance
  • Experience implementing, configuring and monitoring system dashboards using technologies, such as Grafana, Prometheus and the the ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
  • Experience working with containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience providing operations support to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve time-sensitive system anomalies and failures impacting essential mission operations functions
  • Experience developing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins and GitLab
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Perl or Java
  • Experience leading a team of engineers to complete complex technical tasks
  • Ability to balance priorities to independently execute operations support processes, and accurately create, follow or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Possession of excellent customer support, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate certification
  • RedHat Certified System Administrator or RedHat Certified Engineer certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
