DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Team in Houston, TX, or Denver, CO. This is a Software Engineering position performing space related activities to include: spacecraft system/subsystem and environmental modeling and simulation, mission simulation, development, test, verification, and validation activities.
The engineer will provide support for Simulation and/or SOCCRATES development for DDTE/OPOC contracts. This task includes effort to perform defect resolution, development, testing and stakeholder support.
The engineer will conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers on simulation software that is used to test the vehicle's flight software, associated avionics and ground systems. This work entails development of hardware models, environmental models, simulation faulting capabilities, and products to support use of the simulation in a lab environment.

Work includes:
- Making software updates to the simulation architecture and models as required to implement new features or resolve defects.
- Development of software to support new spacecraft and related systems.
- Working in an Agile development environment performing the assigned development activities, including design, code, and test.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum requirement is BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Software), Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited college.
- BS+5/MS +3
Skills required:
- UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
- Strong software development skills with C++ in a Linux environment.
- Python

- Real time embedded software development
Skills desired:
- Simulation software, SWIG, Matlab / Simulink, Make, Perforce, Eclipse, JIRA, QEMU, Simics, VMWare, Wireshark, Eggplant, Time Triggered Ethernet, XML, Agile methodology
- Ability to perform well in a team environment and meet schedule commitments under a highly constrained timeline.
- Knowledge in overall software life cycle to include systems engineering, implementation, verification and validation, and HW/SW integration
- Multiple platform experience helpful (Unix, MS Windows, Linux)
