Responsibilities
As key member of the team you will play a pivotal lead role planning, implementing, managing, and optimizing a generative AI security solution for a U.S. Government client. This cloud-native solution will be operated in a private AWS tenant and provide user-centric and data-centric generative AI security protection for usage of public-facing applications such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and others. This role will work with the client and OEM to fully deploy, operate, and troubleshoot the system.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with systems administration or software development
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, preferably designing and operating scalable applications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with databases, preferably as Couchbase
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with independently operating and troubleshooting complex service architectures which use containers
- Experience with integrating frontend components with backend APIs and services to enable data exchange and functionality
- Experience with securing infrastructure and applications using U.S. Government risk management framework (RMF)
- Interest or ability to learn generative AI security mechanisms which protect users and sensitive data, for example data loss prevention controls to stop API tokens or personally identifiable information (PII) from being shared with public LLMs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with various teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks
- Mature independent consultant which is comfortable interfacing directly with clients.
- DHS Entry on Duty clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance is required
- Education: BS/BA (CS/EE), STEM or equivalent years of experience
- Useful Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS Security
- Ideal candidate to have DoD IAT Level II certification: Security+ or equivalent
