Splunk Engineer

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Splunk Engineer to join our team on-site in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Splunk Engineer, you will be leading Splunk engineering efforts. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications will make you an integral part of delivering customer-focused engineering solutions.

Responsibilities of the Splunk Engineer:

· Lead Splunk engineering efforts to shape our systems.

· Design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions.

· Translate real-world needs into technical specifications.

· Broaden skillset into areas like Splunk and system engineering.

· Create holistic cyber solutions by merging system engineering and Splunk.

· Deliver customer-focused engineering solutions.

Qualifications of the Splunk Engineer:

· 8+ years of experience on IT programs

· Bachelor's degree

· Experience engaging with client stakeholders

· Experience with SPL, XML, CSS, or HTML

· Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging

· Knowledge of Splunk dashboards

· Knowledge of regular expressions and writing search queries

· Knowledge of creating dashboards for application monitoring

· All candidates must possess a Top Secret Level Security Clearance

Compensation for the Splunk Engineer:

· Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
