ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior Cloud Engineer that is responsible for designing , implementing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment that will satisfy the client's operational mission needs . This position is located on customer site in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that will maximize the program's operations and enhance efficiency using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds) . T ranslate business needs into long-term cloud architecture solutions.
- Guide cloud development prac ti ces to op ti mize resources, govern cloud spending, and reduce inefficiency and waste in cloud migra ti on s and opera ti ons .
- Implement Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) and patch virtual switches, etc. in the cloud layer.
- Enable the CI/CD, DevSecOps , low code/no code, and infrastructure as code ( IaC ) platforms in a cloud environment for the program.
- Lead the d esign, develop ment , and manag e ment of the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds) .
- Lead engineer to facilitate the program's development and deployment of cloud -native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security .
- Ensure NIST compliant security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment .
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 1 5 + years of IT experience with 12+ years of cloud experience .
- 2+ years of experience working in a program using Agile ( SAFe , Scrum and Kanban) and DevSecOps methods.
- Possess Azure solutions architect certification and Posses an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certificate.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Azure to include Azure DevOps platform / tools and Azure network and security tools and services.
- Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development.
- Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on security.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer red experience working with Oracle cloud solutions such as Apex.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a current/active Top Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations .
