Job Description:
· Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network circuits to meet performance and reliability requirements.
· Knowledge of DOD network and system security requirements.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
· Conduct in-depth analysis of network performance metrics and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
· Knowledge of networking and network-based software applications in a DOD IT environment
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive network solutions that align with organizational objectives.
· Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in circuit engineering and network infrastructure to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
· Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities to resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
· Knowledge of IP and optical network operation.
· Utilization of monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for the client network and systems infrastructure
· Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.
· Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management
