Systems Engineer
Key Role:
Lead the design, development, and integration of innovative systems solutions to support military command and control operations. Enhance user experience and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. Leverage your extensive background in TAK, Mission Command Applications, and systems engineering to drive the success of our clients' missions. Lead a team of systems engineers in the development and integration of TAK and Mission Command Applications. Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and operational goals. Enhance user experience through user- center ed design practices and usability testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of system solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering and military technology.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on TAK, Mission Command Applications, requirements development, and user experience
- Experience with Linux-based platforms, Git, and CI / CD pipelines
- Experience developing system requirements and enhancing user experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with various teams
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Systems Engineering or CS field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with geospatial mapping and data visualization tools
- Experience working in a military or defense- related environment
- Top Secret clearance
