A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Specialist, Cyber Intelligence to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT!
You must have a final DoD Secret clearance and this is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
• Works in concert with the Systems Engineers to ensure the system meets security requirements in addition to operational requirements
• Disseminates security requirements to Software, Mechanical, and other engineers
• Hardens (or oversees hardening performed by other functional group) systems to meet STIGs
• Scans the system and software to verify compliance to Security Technical Implementation Guides and to find current vulnerabilities
• Creates documentation to support the certification and/or authorization of systems under multiple security frameworks
• Supports the assessment of systems to obtain Authorization To Operate under the Risk Management Framework
• Provides responses to bids
This person will need to have Security+, RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+ or CISSP
certifications. Knowledge and experience using Nessus, Splunk,
Ivanti applications. Experience with VMware servers for both
Windows and Linux OSs. Knowledge of STIG applications on
enterprise WAN level along with Firewall and Switch configuration
experience.
Additional requirements:
Must possess one of the following certifications: CISSP (or Associate), CASP+ CE, or CSSLP
• Experience with at least one of the following: RMF, CNSSI 1253, DJSIG, NSA High Assurance / Cryptographic Module certification, FIPS 140-2 or 140-3, or NIAP/Common Criteria
• Experience in embedded systems security engineering
• Familiar with RF communications systems, including applicable computer networking concepts, protocols (incl. TCP/IP), and security methodologies
• Experience with IA vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools; e.g., Retina, NMap, Nessus, OSCAP, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
