TEKsystems has a n immediate 6 month contract to hire ServiceNow Administrator opportunity to support a large program at McDill AFB that is moving from Remedy to ServiceNow.

1.) ServiceNow Admin experience in a Linux environment
2.) Experience implementing and supporting of ITOM and ITAM applications to include discovery, asset management, service mapping pattens, and event management.
3.) MariaDB (other database experience is sufficient as well such as MySQL)
Clearance: Secret (ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI)
Certification: CompTIA Security+ (can waive for the right candidate), ServiceNow Admin cert (nice to have)

Job Description
- Moving from Remedy to ServiceNow requiring build out from scratch experience and strong ServiceNow infrastructure experience
- Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades and assisting with the technical implementation of the tool.
- Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules with expertise in Agile Development along with Demand, Project, Portfolio, and Resource Management.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-Knowledge and experience supporting relational databases such as MariaDB (just need overall understanding) to include installation, optimization, indexing and coding. Other database experience is sufficient as well.
-Proven ability and knowledge of ServiceNow integrations with other systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):
-ServiceNow ITSM Implementer certification
-Java script, html, or CSS experience
-Skilled in utilizing best practice engineering methods
-Demonstrated knowledge of incident management, problem management, change management, Knowledge management as well as request fulfillment
-Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HTML, CSS, Angular JS, Jelly scripts and Restful API webservices.
