FJM Innovative Technologies, LLC is hiring a Python Developer to develop end-to-end system features, optimize backend code, and deploy scalable solutions across multiple environments. This role requires strong expertise in Python, API development, and version control (GitHub), with a preference for experience in microservices and Kubernetes environments.

Must have ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Chantilly, VA On-Site Full-TIme
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python-based applications, utilizing FastAPI and SQLAlchemy for backend development.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub for automated testing, deployment, and version control.
Design and deploy applications using containerized solutions (Docker, Helm) within a Kubernetes environment.
Utilize AWS cloud services such as OpenSearch, EMR, EC2, and Lambda for scalable infrastructure deployment.
Work within an Agile environment, using Scrum methodologies to plan and execute development tasks.
Integrate internal and external APIs, databases, and services with Python and shell scripting.
Ensure solutions align with current and future architecture and operational needs.
Collaborate with networking and security teams to meet customer data routing and access requirements.
Required Skills:
5+ years of Python development experience in software/application development.
Proficiency in FastAPI and SQLAlchemy for building robust applications.
Strong experience with Linux OS and cloud infrastructure (AWS, etc.).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub for automation.
Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
Understanding of big data search tools such as Airflow, Pyspark, Trino, OpenSearch, and Elastic.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Chantilly, VA, with core hours of 9 AM - 3 PM.
