Description

Manage and administer the organization's databases, using database management systems to effectively organize and store data. Assess user requirements, design and implement databases, and coordinate changes, collaborating with development and end-user teams to define data access needs, transaction rates, and volume analysis. Ensuring optimal database performance and supports the integration and maintenance of databases within the organization.

Requirements

  • Design and develop robust database applications using PL/SQL.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
  • Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to implement database solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve database-related issues.
  • Ensure database integrity and security by implementing best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Maintain documentation of database designs, architecture, and changes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database development.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a PL SQL Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, design, and normalization.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of VBA for automation tasks.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS for web development.
  • Experience with Unix shell scripting for system operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

1. Top Secret with investigation current within the last 5 years

2. On-site, no remote

Technical Environment: SQL, Microsoft, Linux, Splunk, Ansible, Tenable, GEMS
