The Opportunity:
When a user tries new sof tware, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful sof tware development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof tware and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof tware possible.
As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and engineers to evaluate sof tware. You'll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, and automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the sof tware performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
You'll automate continuous security and performance testing. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. You'll also broaden your experience and gain skills in new areas such as automation, cloud computing, and machine learning, while sharing your testing experience with your team.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience developing design of experiments ( DoEs ) and data analysis
- 5+ years of experience with programming using R
- 5+ years of experience with JMP and LogXACT
- 5+ years of experience with MATLAB, Mathematica, or Python for computational physics
- Experience with radio frequency data acquisition and analysis
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies, including regression, DoE and experimental design, mathematical statistics and statistical inference, survival analysis, categorical data analysis, or multivariate statistics
- Secret clearance

- Experience with electronic and electrical systems such as vehicles, outboard motors, UAS, or USV
- Experience with existing e nga gement M & S sof tware such as JREM, MAST, or AFSIM
