Air Mobility Defense Mission Professional
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your strategic, operational, and functional expertise to work on projects for DoD transportation and air mobility. You'll use your skills and expertise to guide teams in identifying and analyzing how operations are currently being conducted, their tasks, resources, risks, gaps, constraints, and more. You'll be a trusted advisor to clients, senior leaders, and your teammates
You will work on teams to analyze mission and system priorities to inform investments decisions in future technologies. These analytical products will inform the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process, aid in the prioritization of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and facilitate the delivery of modernized capabilities to support future Joint Warfighting Concepts.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with organization, planning, or mission employment across various warfighting domains, such as air, space, and cyber
- Experience working in a military headquarters environment and working with and briefing senior personnel
- Ability to deliver presentations, create briefs and documentation, and communicate professionally and effectively with action officers and senior military and civilian leaders
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Air Mobility operations, information systems, and processes
- Ability to provide warfighting operational perspectives in support of technology development
- Experience with DoD acquisition or budget processes
- Ability to manage complex projects, such as managing scope, schedule, cost, and deliverables
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
