As an Ordnance Technician IV, you will be responsible for repairs, replacement, and maintenance of key aircraft weapons and egress components. You'll ensure the necessary checks related to these components, including the testing of and replacement of defective or faulty parts, are completed satisfactorily. You'll use a variety of provided tools and equipment to perform diagnosis on parts to be replaced, and ensure repairs and maintenance are compliant with national and international standards of work. As an Ord IV, appreciable input will be expected regarding site functions and expectations, as well as team performance. Safety and organization are a part of every step!

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $38.39 - $52.79. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Understanding of and the ability to interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
- Advanced skills in avionics installation tooling, ordnance related equipment and aircraft armament weapons systems
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Extensive experience with wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation, ordnance installation, repair and maintenance
- Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
- Thorough understanding of ejection seats, SUU-20's, MK-81's, BDU's, and rocket pods
- Progressive flight line experience
- Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft ejection seats and weapons systems
- Advanced knowledge of flightline operational schedules.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Martin-Baker ejection seat experience
- .50 caliber machine gun experience
