Come join the Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) teams mission and contribute to challenging programs in support of Space Vehicles, Hypersonics, Human Space Flight and Interplanetary Missions, Missile Defense, and more.

The RF Talent Center is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated Senior Project Engineer to:
• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, and completion of activities across functional groups within the RFTC and with external stakeholders.
• Works with program leadership and engineers to implement process improvements for greater affordability while maintaining positive relationships.
• Project management within a cross functional team and program plan.
• Work with RFTC leadership and engineering team to generate proposal deliverables for new business opportunities.
• Working on pathfinding open ended projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Skill Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience with project management
• Demonstrated experience in planning and execution of events, tasks, or projects
• Knowledge of planning processes including critical paths analysis, risks, and Earned Value implementation from a planning perspective
• Experience with developing and maintaining schedules for projects or activities
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Security Clearance Requirements:
• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.
• Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, a clearance level of Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) for long term employment on this program
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in RF engineering principles, systems, and components, including design, development, and testing of payload units and RF hardware.
• Knowledge of Agile project management principles, methodologies, and practices, with ability to apply agile concepts to manage and deliver projects effectively.
• Ability to generate accurate and thorough estimates, proposals, and Basis of Estimates (BOE) documents using GenBOE tools and processes.
• Ability to coordinate/integrate a multitude of tasks.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient technical and business interchanges with senior customer and management.
• Ability to build key relationships across organizations internally within LM and externally with industry partners to achieve organizational and program goals.
• Experience with Collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint and knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
• Demonstrated ability to get results from teams without direct authority.
• Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations.
• Knowledge of program lifecycle execution from concept phase through end-of-life phase.
• Demonstrated experience with the risk management process.
• Demonstrated teamwork.
• Active TS/SCI

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
