Salesforce Integration Architect
Location: Austin, Texas
The HigherEchelon Salesforce Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Integration Architect to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the architectural design and technical implementation of complex Salesforce integrations, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in integration patterns, proven leadership skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into best-in-class Salesforce integration solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Salesforce Integration Architect, driving the overall technical strategy, architecture, and design of Salesforce integrations.
• Lead architectural reviews, establish best practices, and ensure compliance with Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Define and enforce Salesforce integration standards, API governance strategies, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to design scalable and high-performing integration solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including integration diagrams, data flow models, and API strategies.
• Provide expert guidance on Salesforce multi-cloud integrations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Industry Clouds.
• Oversee technical teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving adoption of Salesforce integration best practices.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and regulatory adherence in Salesforce integrations, including Public Sector security standards.
• Lead Salesforce integration roadmap planning, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology advancements.
• Serve as a thought leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, staying updated on new releases, emerging integration technologies, and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical integration issues, providing hands-on support when necessary.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions on Salesforce integration strategy, architecture, and technical vision.
Required Skills:
• Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce integration project implementation experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Integration Architect, designing and implementing large-scale integrations.
• Extensive expertise in Salesforce integration capabilities, middleware solutions, and API management.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce development languages and integration tools, such as Apex, REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, and ETL tools.
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex Salesforce integrations, including system-to-system, cloud-to-cloud, and on-premise integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns, including event-driven architecture, microservices, and middleware-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of OAuth, SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), and data security best practices.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) are required.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into integration solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting complex concepts to business leaders.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and influence technical teams.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Public Trust Clearance.
Required Education and Experience:
• Certified Salesforce Integration Architect certification.
• Will have a minimum of five (5) years of general work experience.
• Experience in the IT field focusing on Salesforce integrations, middleware platforms, DevSecOps, and enterprise architecture.
• Will possess strong integration architecture and design experience, including at least three (3) years of experience deploying Salesforce integrations in production environments.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
