The AWS National Security team (NatSec) is looking for an exceptional Customer Engagement Manager to manage workstreams across the Maryland-based Account and Extended Teams supporting the Intelligence Community.

This position is based in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will join a team of Account Executives, Customer Solutions Managers, and Account Managers in overseeing existing and pursuing new contract requirements, milestones, and deliverables. You will be responsible for creating, driving and executing requirements and documentation between executive leadership, Account and Extended Teams, and other internal business operations support.

You will drive strategic planning, process improvement, and execution on key projects for the AWS US Federal business. This role supports the NatSec MD Account Team, which is responsible for strategic planning and execution for the NatSec MD business line. The team ensures all initiatives are carried out with precision, from high-level strategy formulation, to the day-to-day management and execution of engagements, communications, and special projects.

Core Responsibilities:

- Design and drive ongoing operational review of the NatSec Maryland Account Team. This involves envisioning current state improvements and developing future state operating models.

- Design and manage processes to develop strategic objectives, budgets and execution plans for key customer programs and initiatives.

- Lead the project management of strategic initiatives. This will include identifying opportunities for and creating new mechanisms, capturing, recording, synthesizing, and leveraging data, and prioritizing based on goals, business needs, and business impact.

- Develop and refine programs to support the team's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals.

- Align program priorities and resources to the needs of the broader NatSec Team.

- Focus on internal and external stakeholder engagement, delivery, and execution.

- Meet regularly with Amazon internal stakeholders to develop effective methods for assuring timely delivery of customer commitments.

- Develop and execute effective methods of communication among AWS and government stakeholders.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years stakeholder management, partnership management, or consulting experience
- 5+ years experience developing, maturing, and executing project documentation, schedules, briefings and deliverables
- 3+ years experience providing support to senior leaders, including planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, events, activities, and calendars
- Current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph US Government Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience in the Intelligence Community
- 3 years experience using data and metrics to evaluate success, shape outcomes, and drive improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
