As a Prime Government Contractor for U.S Treasury, we are currently searching for a talented Program Manager with IT Infrastructure Background in Washington DC

About the Job

Our Department of Treasury contract requires resources with IT service capabilities and experience to complete all activities required to successfully operate and maintain the IT Infrastructure Operations for Treasury Secure Data Network. IT Operations environment encompasses a wide range of IT services centered on supporting Treasury end-users. Included are support and maintenance of the Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) including workstation hardware and software, the network file storage, print, email, and other office applications and database servers, storage solutions, and related computing platforms. The underlining infrastructure to support the program consists of backend Data Center, Service Desk, Network and Security Staff to perform operations and maintenance, disaster recovery, program management for ongoing IT Operations

Job Requirements

This program supports Service Desk, Desk Side Support, Data Center Operations, Asset Management, Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and DMCC. This program supports Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), which are the activities associated with maintenance of network security that is fully compliant with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) directives, Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), and Department of Defense (DOD) requirements.

Program Manager (PM) is responsible for coordinating the management of all work performed. The PM is ultimately responsible for coordinating the effort of subcontractors, team members, and coordinating with other contractors under the direction of the Government Contracting Office.
  • Fifteen (15) years progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least six (6) projects in technical areas related to the TO. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
  • Specialized Experience: Ten (10) years in supervision of substantial IT/Networking projects, Five (5) years of this experience must have been in supervising large IT/Networking services contracts, including people of various job categories and skills, and must have occurred in the last seven (7) years.
  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Demonstrate written and oral communication skills. Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
  • Will have direct supervision of IT Infrastructure development, integration, maintenance projects, and/or telecommunications systems. Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems.
  • Develop a Program Management Plan (PMP) to address CALNET's approach and schedule for implementing the requirements of this PWS and achieving the performance standards for each task. Update the PMP to demonstrate sufficient program control. Update the plan yearly and provide an update of all changes at the end of each BPA performance period.
  • Perform the technical effort, outlined in each individual Task Order using sound program management principles consistent with Project Management Institute (PMI) knowledge areas.
  • Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and schedule consistent with the PWS requirement in the BPA. Maintain a master schedule throughout the life of the BPA with each associated task order.
  • Utilize the Master BPA schedule as the foundation for all project work scope planning, scheduling, project cost estimates, life-cycle cost estimates, resource allocations, performance measurement, configuration management, and status reporting.
  • Monitor all work and coordinate with designated government interfaces and other vendors when required.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and the highest ethical standards in these matters, as related to the performance of this contract.
