The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate for a full-time Mechanical Engineer position. This role will focus on critical tasking within the Deep Submergence Systems and Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Structures Knowledge Areas, contributing to the sustainment and advancement of undersea warfare capabilities. After an initial spin-up period, the position offers the flexibility of up to 100% telework, providing a balanced and dynamic work environment.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Tasking may include but is not limited to review of DSS/UUV design work products, development of design guidance, review of historical design precedence, some performance of finite element analysis.
- Candidate should be a problem solver with self-starter that is able to independently handle tasking with limited engagement from government lead.
Qualifications:
Required:
- The Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance
- B.S. in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ Years of Relevant Work Experience
- 1-2 Years of Experience with Solidworks, Abaqus, NASTRAN, and/or MATLAB
- Experience in FEA and Structural Analysis
- 1-2 years of Experience Developing Design Guidance Based on Novel and Historical Precedents
Desired:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in FEA and Structural Analysis on US Navy Undersea Vehicles
