Job Description
The Countermeasure and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) - Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) product line is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Subcontract Administrator to join our team. Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, developing subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment for development and production contracts. Candidates will learn/utilize supplier management techniques to support BAE Systems program, meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

ISS encompasses new keystone development opportunities that will shape the future, long-established production programs alongside sustainment; portions of the work is of a classified nature and the ability to obtain appropriate clearances is desirable. The selected candidate will work on the world's most advanced EO/IR technology to deliver next-generation threat detection, countermeasure, and full-spectrum electronic warfare capabilities that enhance mission survivability and ultimately bring the Warfighter home safe.

Regular duties include but are not limited to :
  • Manage suppliers through all phases of program execution - Support proposal preparation activities, administer subcontracts, and execute supplier management activities to provide for acquisition and fulfillment of direct requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Procure materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly-specialized and complex nature based on program specific requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare and issue complex subcontract types. Validate and contribute to the formation of specifications, statements of work, and Subcontract Management Plans.
  • Prepare requests for proposals and review responses for documentation adequacy, develop evaluation criteria, lead proposal evaluation team in fact-finding, and cost/price analyses, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
  • Document subcontract files in compliance with FAR/DFAR Regulations, company policies and procedures, and program special provisions.
  • Prepares, issues, and administers non-disclosure agreement with subcontractors as required.
  • Negotiate Terms and Conditions and specific subcontract terms and conditions including price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely; available location of employment is in the Nashua-Merrimack, New Hampshire area. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' work experience working in a subcontract/contract/procurement environment. Associate degree and 5+ years of experience in subcontracts/contracts/procurement, or a High School Diploma and 8+ years of related experience in subcontracts/contracts/ procurement
  • Proficient use in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PPT)
  • Project / Supplier Management
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual conflicts with subcontractors through negotiations and contractual vehicles


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience in material management, general knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience with ORACLE is a plus
  • Understanding of the FAR/FARs regulations preferred
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, RF Microwave, optics, and software/license agreement is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
