Security Certification Program Manager, Lead
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to support acquisition lifecycle management and program execution activities for the Department of Defense (DoD) contracts? Can you develop innovative solutions to complex programmatic and engineering problems? As a Program Manager, you'll work closely with our DoD clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives, ensuring our client's mission is our mission. We're looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the Government client.
This is an opportunity to work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients, from various DoD and other government agencies to systems engineers, and plan space and ground system acquisition programs. You will assist the Space Force with integrating the GPS system user equipment across a large stakeholder community and manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk. You will lead and manage the GPS security certification acquisition management processes for DoD acquisitions. You will develop and enforce GPS user equipment security certification and approval acquisition processes, including DoD cryptography, information assurance and cybersecurity, program protection and anti-tamper, and Military Standard Order procedures. You will prepare, process, and review various acquisition documents to ensure quality and compliance with government requirements, processes, and policies. You will provide acquisition knowledge and counsel to government acquisition offices.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management
- 5+ years of experience leading a team
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to interact in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with DoD GPS cryptography, information assurance, and program protection or anti-tamper
- Experience with the DoD acquisition system
- Experience with GPS and navigation technologies and systems
- Experience working new technology programs for embedded system
- Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Completion of Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level II or higher in Engineering or Program Management
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
