Journeyman Information Assurance Engineer

Amentum is now hiring for a Journeyman Information Assurance Engineer in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cyber security for onsite systems.
• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to systems and networks and implements necessary security measures to nullify those threats.
• Analyze organization's network and systems security measures, updating them as necessary to maintain security compliance.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the organization's security documentation to include policies, standards, and best practices.
• Record incidents and report them to upper management.
• Ensure the integrity and protection of networks and systems through the implementation of secure policies and procedures.
• Educate organization's employees on standards and best practices to mitigate risk of data exposure.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's of Science degree.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting C5ISR DEVCOM programs.
