Job Description:

The Telecommunications Network Analyst will play a critical role in supporting cyberspace operations and intelligence collection to enhance national security. This position requires expertise in network and access discovery analysis, providing technical support in network exploitation, digital network intelligence, and target network analysis. The analyst will work closely with mission owners to assess and secure network infrastructures, identify vulnerabilities, and contribute to offensive cyberspace operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct computer network analysis, network exploitation, and digital network intelligence to support mission objectives.
  • Analyze data flows, access development, and target network structures to identify vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Utilize expertise in ports, protocols, networking devices, and common exploitation frameworks to assess and improve network security.
  • Perform signals intelligence discovery analysis using advanced tools and methodologies.
  • Support offensive cyberspace operations, ensuring mission success through detailed technical assessments.
  • Collaborate with analysts and mission owners to develop and refine network defense strategies.


Required Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, engineering, or administering wide-area telecommunications networks (wireline or wireless, circuit-switched or packet-switched).
  • Strong knowledge of encryption techniques, routing, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with Computer Network Operations (CNO) processes and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model layers 1 and 2.
  • Ability to analyze network topologies and assess vulnerabilities.
  • Expertise in signals intelligence discovery analysis tools and techniques.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Technologies, Networking, or a related field.


Desired Qualifications:

Additional experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Understanding of data flow and signals intelligence architectures.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or C++.
  • Experience using penetration testing tools.
  • Previous collaboration with Intelligence Community (IC) partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of ports, protocols, and common network configurations.
  • Familiarity with IT logging best practices.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification.


Security Clearance:

This position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates must be willing to undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
