Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Junior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) who will operate cybersecurity tools to include a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution, Vulnerability scanner, and endpoint security for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The ISSE will work under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSMs) to ensure correct configuration and deployment of various the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of multiple computer systems. ISSEs will assist the Senior ISSE in daily operation of the security tools. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands technical proficiency, customer service, communication, and organizational skill.
This is a hybrid position partial in the office and partial work from home opportunities.

Salary Range:
$70,500.00 - $123,400.00

What You'll be Doing :
- Operating SIEM tools, Vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
- Active Secret security clearance.
- DoD Directive 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification.
- 2+ years' experience as an ISSE, operating SIEM tools, Vulnerability scanners, and Endpoint Security solutions.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
- Experience operating Trellix/McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
- Experience operating Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Experience operating LogRhythm.
- Microsoft Azure environment and security tool operation experience.
- Amazon Web Service environment and security tool operation experience.
- Experience with Communications Security (COMSEC).
- Experience with implementing Zero Trust capability solutions.
