Salary: $75,000 - $125,000
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
Education: Bachelor's in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.

OVERVIEW
Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled ESL Systems Engineer to support a classified development and analysis team working with a highly classified system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, software development, and analysis, along with experience working in Linux environments. This role involves analyzing system performance, updating system software, and supporting system operations in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute and update ESL's MATLAB analysis tool suite to generate system performance reports.
2. Analyze system performance reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and out-of-family behaviors.
3. Prepare detailed reports on ESL system performance.
4. Operate ESL's Intelligent Communications Router (ICR) to facilitate message exchange and system integration.
5. Document bugs and enhancement requests for software/system improvements.
6. Develop Linux scripts to support system diagnostics and analysis.
7. Function as a flight-test operator as required.
8. Ensure compliance with software assurance (SwA) and cybersecurity requirements.
9. Support design, status, or technical interchange meetings as required.
10. Perform software testing and verification activities.
11. Create user and engineering documentation to capture requirements, designs, and architectures.
12. Research innovative technologies and evaluate product feasibility.
13. Install and maintain Government and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (GOTS/COTS) products.
14. Implement system requirements using C++ and Qt for GUI development.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field.
2. 3+ years of experience in analysis or software development.
3. Proficiency in tools/languages for data manipulation.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret system-generated data to enhance reporting and system performance.
5. Experience working in a Linux operating system environment.
6. Proficiency with MATLAB, C++, Python, and Linux scripting.
7. Strong written and oral communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-demand environment.
9. Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems with creativity and ingenuity.
10. TS/SCI (Active SCI Preferred or Ability to Obtain One)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
11. Experience working with DoD systems.
12. Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), or C4ISR systems.
13. Hands-on experience with Qt for GUI development.
14. Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
