Key Responsibilities
Dedicated IT Support for SSC Senior Leadership
Provide white-glove IT support for SSC's Command Section, ensuring hardware and software are fully operational.
Manage setup, installation, updates, and maintenance for executive desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, projectors, and smartphones.
Ensure seamless network connectivity, access to DAF systems, and peripheral integration for all Command Section devices.
Respond immediately to executive IT issues, prioritizing urgent problem resolution to minimize downtime.
Deliver after-hours support as needed, ensuring executive personnel remain connected during critical mission activities.
Proactive Device & System Management
Monitor and maintain Command Section IT assets, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
Preemptively identify and resolve hardware/software issues before they impact operations.
Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams to ensure all executive devices meet security policies and compliance standards.
Track device configurations, software versions, and user preferences to deliver personalized IT support.
User Training & IT Modernization
Provide one-on-one, hands-on training to Command Section personnel, enhancing IT proficiency and operational efficiency.
Gather user feedback to recommend hardware and software improvements that optimize workflow and productivity.
Assist in strategic IT planning, supporting executive initiatives to modernize and improve mission-critical IT systems.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with Field Services leadership and Government IT teams to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
Maintain clear documentation of executive IT support activities, ensuring accountability and continuous service improvement.
Attend executive IT planning meetings to stay ahead of technology needs and evolving requirements.
Qualifications & Required Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in desktop support, system administration, or IT field services.
2+ years of experience providing direct IT support to senior leadership or high-priority personnel.
Expertise in Windows, iOS, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
Strong background in hardware/software troubleshooting, executive IT support, and mobile device management.
Familiarity with network security policies, DoD IT infrastructure, and system administration best practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Professional appearance and demeanor, suitable for direct interaction with high-ranking military and civilian leadership.
CompTIA Security+ equivalent or higher
Certifications (Preferred):
ITIL Foundation
Microsoft or Apple Certifications
Security Clearance: Secret or higher (must be eligible for DoD clearance).
