Multi-Media Specialist
The Multi-Media Specialist shall perform tasks such as:
Develop and produce multimedia content, including videos, photos, graphics, and social media posts, to support the organization's communication and outreach efforts
Create and edit visual elements, such as graphics, animations, and motion graphics, for use in various multimedia projects
Produce and edit video content, including interviews, events, and promotional videos, for use on social media, websites, and other platforms
Capture and edit high-quality photos for use in various multimedia projects, including events, portraits, and documentary-style photography
Design and develop graphic elements, such as logos, infographics, and brochures, for use in various multimedia projects
Create original graphic illustrations, including cartoons, diagrams, and other visual elements, to support communication and outreach efforts
Collaborate with other teams, including public affairs, communications, and marketing, to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans
Utilize data and analytics to monitor the success of multimedia projects and provide suggestions for improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production, including video, photo, graphics, and social media
Administer and manage social media platforms, including:
Creating and scheduling posts
Responding to comments and messages
Analyzing engagement metrics and adjusting social media strategy accordingly
Developing and implementing social media campaigns to support organizational goals
Monitoring and reporting on social media trends and best practices
Publish content on the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) platform, including:
Uploading and managing video, photo, and graphic content
Writing and editing captions and descriptions for DVIDS content
Utilizing DVIDS analytics to track engagement and adjust content strategy
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, or related field
· 2+ years of experience in multimedia production, graphic design, or a related field
· Strong knowledge of video production, photography, and graphic design principles and practices
· Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent alternatives: Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci, Affinity, etc.
· Experience with social media platforms, including content creation, engagement, and analytics
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
· Fluency in Spanish preferred.
· Ability to travel and possess a U.S. Passport for exercise support in Central and South America.
