Key Responsibilities:
• Implement automation tools and workflows using Python to streamline operations or provide Portal Metrics
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Esri and industry best practices for enterprise geodatabase management and GIS workflow design for SQL integration
• Ability to perform installs and configuration during version upgrades (e.g., ArcGIS 10.x to 11.x)
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise GIS solutions
• Oversee data ingestion, management, and transformation processes from various sources (e.g., databases, API’s, cloud platforms) while ensuring data quality and compliance
• Optimize GIS mapping, spatial analytics, and visualization capabilities to meet the diverse needs of internal and external stakeholders
• Integrate ArcGIS with data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Azure Synapse)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct needs assessments, deliver tailored solutions, and provide user training
• Ensure systems align with security and compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA)
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, and managing enterprise GIS solutions with Esri ArcGIS
• Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, Arc GIS Online, and enterprise geodatabases
• Proficiency in Python scripting and REST API integrations
• Strong knowledge of spatial data formats, GIS workflows, and map projection systems
• Experience working with SQL databases or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure or AWS, including tools like ArcGIS on Azure
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Enterprise Administration Professional) are a plus
