Military Deception and Operations Security Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an expert in Department of Defense ( DoD ) missions, your unique skill set inspires you to thi nk bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive Defense Mission knowledge and advisory skills to help solve some of our clients' most complex problems and help find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a Military Deception ( MILDEC ) and Operations Security (OPSEC) subject matter expert, you'll bring your leadership, strategic, operational, te chn ical, Joint Operational Planning Process for Air (JOPP-A), and Combatant Command Plans and operations skills to work with thought leaders in operational planning on high priority projects. You'll sharpen your skills as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support rapid MILDEC and OPSEC development and integration into the client's plans, operations, and exercises. Coordinate with other information related capabilities (IRCs), special technical operations capabilities, and other compartmented capabilities to support development of plans, targets, and concepts of operations (CONOPs), supporting planning and execution efforts.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience working with the DoD
  • 4+ years of experience in MILDEC and OPSEC in a Joint or Service capacity
  • Experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process
  • Knowledge of Information Operations and MILDEC coordination requirements as it applies to the operational level of warfare, including planning, organizing, and c ond ucting exercises to enhance DoD military units employing MILDEC
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative methods and analysis for the assessment and improvement of MILDEC and spe cia l air movement plans to ensure capabilities and priorities meet Combatant Command and service component taskings
  • Ability to evaluate and implement current and future deception policy objectives and procedures
  • Ability to create verbal and written communication products for clients, including presentations, plans, and orders
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
