Logistics Specialist

The Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. The Logistics Specialist will support the HMIF PO with managing the movement of equipment from the Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) to the warfighters, including inventory control, transportation coordination, and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all compliance standards. The successful candidate will support the movement of the HMIF Armor BCT and Infantry BCT formations and ensure the supply chain is in place to allow the formations to remain fully operational.

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for:

• Inventory Management: Accurately tracking and managing all military supplies and equipment, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining proper documentation.
• Procurement: Initiating requests for necessary supplies, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Transportation Coordination: Arranging for the movement of personnel and equipment using various transportation methods like trucks, aircraft, and rail.
• Supply Distribution: Distributing supplies to units based on operational needs and maintaining proper accountability.
• Maintenance and Repair: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of military equipment, ensuring it is functional and ready for deployment.
• Logistics Planning: Contributing to the development and execution of logistics plans for operations, including deployment and redeployment phases.
• Data Management: Utilizing logistics management systems to track inventory levels, generate reports, and analyze data

Required Experience:

• 5 years' experience supporting DoD Acquisition programs
• BS in Logistics or Business. Additional years of experience can be considered for equivalency
