Task Order Project Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Snowcreek Consulting is seeking a Task Order Project Manager for a fully remote position
supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Program Executive Office (PEO). This position
requires an Active DoD Secret security clearance and is contingent on the successful win of the
DLA PEO contract; award is expected late April 2025.
The DLA J62 PEO manages IT solutions for the DLA user community, a support organization
for the warfighter. This role serves as a Task Order Project Manager tasked with identifying,
planning, communicating, and coordinating execution of work for the DLA PEO contract. The
role will involve consultative engagement with senior government leaders including the
Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative to capture required support
activities and develop realistic and time-bound plans for delivery. In this role, the Task Order
Project Manager will be responsible for completing key program/contract-related deliverables,
and overseeing the quality and timely delivery of work products.
NOTE: This position has been designated by the government as Key Personnel; applicants

Program Manager’s hiring.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee and be accountable for the planning and delivery of all work within the task
order
• Use a consultative, customer-focused, team-oriented approach to finding solutions to
customer challenges/needs
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of all work and deliverables for the
task order. Facilitate requirements-gathering, navigating requirements collection from a
variety of stakeholders. Document requirements using a variety of tools, including work
breakdown structures and requirements traceability matrices
• Develop schedules or other tracking tools/mechanisms for capturing and communicating
the status of work across the task order.
• Develop the management plan that describes the approach that will be taken to identify,
coordinate, plan, manage, and control work across the task order.
• Develop and compile invoices in accordance with monthly invoicing standards, and
produce trip reports as required.
• Track and maintain a repository of contractor certification in accordance with DoD
8570.01 and DoDM 8140.03
• Develop and deliver a variety of status reporting updates, including monthly status
reports, weekly/periodic status reports, and facilitate regular program reviews.
EDUCATION:
Ten years of total work experience, at least five of which are in project management; Bachelor’s
degree preferred, but additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Minimum of five years project management or other relevant experience with
progressively higher responsibility in the public/private sector in the IT or consulting
fields
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility
in the public and/or private sector
• Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project
completion
• Demonstrated success in working with leadership to understand and define resource
needs of your project
• Comfortable asking questions of technical experts to clarify or confirm understanding
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented; able to parse and organize information in a clear and direct manner
• Have a flexibility in perspective when approaching unfamiliar work scenarios; ability to
think on their feet and respond professionally
• Demonstrated success in multi-tasking, self-assigning work, and functioning in a
dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success working with technical leads and subject matter experts to
understand and define resource requirements to order to develop schedules that ensure
operational projects are completed on time
• Demonstrated success in managing project team activities, technical resources, and
providing periodic project status to stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project
• Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and
PowerPoint)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiarity with DLA, DOD regulations, and directives
• Experience supporting multiple senior level managers and Program Management Office
leaders for large DoD contracts.
