Job Description:
The Test Engineer Lead will focus on ensuring the highest quality of our C4I systems through the development and execution of rigorous tests. Responsible for developing testing plans, frameworks, and validating system functionality, working closely with cross-functional teams to address product defects and improvements. Experience within a military organization, particularly in ai operations or air traffic control, is preferred, and experience in the Middle East is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios to validate system functionality and ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Ensure testing is completed within agreed timelines.
• Identify, report, and track defects/issues found during testing. Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and retest after fixes.
• Perform functional performance, security, and regression testing of C4I software products. Ensure that system’s resilience and performance under various operational scenarios.
• Coordinate with various functions and teams to ensure necessary product changes are incorporated and communicate the impact of identified defects or issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, procedures, and results. Provide feedback to the development team to improve the quality of the system development process.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to ensure the most efficient and effective testing practices are in place.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or similar roles, preferably with experience in C2 systems or air traffic control systems.
• Strong experience with test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
• Proficient in functional, performance, security, and regression testing techniques.
• Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to report findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-function team environment, understanding the perspectives and needs of different teams.
