Salary Range:

$180,000.00 To $205,000.00 Annually

E-INFOSOL is searching for a highly motivated Network Architect to be a full-time employee in Washington, D.C. to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Type: On Site

Job Description: The Network Architect must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, as well as extensive experience in network architecture, particularly in IPv4 to IPv6 migration.

Manage the migration from IPv4 to IPv6, including obtaining device counts, types, and current network architecture from stakeholders.
Gather and analyze information to create realistic timelines for IPv6 migration.
Provides input and manages short- and long-term projects designed to meet business requirements for infrastructure functionality, performance, availability, cost and business continuity needs while taking into account business direction and growth strategies.
Report progress and updates to organization management.
Utilize extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP and EIGRP.
Implement and maintain network security best practices, including firewalls and SD-WAN.
Document and communicate network architecture migration plans.
Create and present technical network architecture to a wide range of audiences.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Interact with vendors to discuss pricing and technical details without supervision.
Apply knowledge of data center architecture and requirements.
Translate technical requirements and benefits to the finance office.
Gather and analyze network requirements from various stakeholders

Qualifications:

Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.
A minimum of 8 years of related experience
Certifications Industry Certification: Ex: CCNP or CCIE Expert knowledge of Network Systems and emerging technologies

Required Skills:

Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences.
Ability to translate technical requirements into financial terms for the finance office.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and vendors.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
Proven experience in network architecture and IPv4 to IPv6 migration.
Extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, EIGRP).
Strong understanding of network security best practices, including firewalls and SD-WAN.
Knowledge of data center architecture and requirements.
