Strategos seeking an engineering opportunity in support of the Naval War College (NWC) and its components as they relate to their mission of Professional Military Education, Joint Professional Military Education, help the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) define the future Navy, its missions and roles, support combat readiness, and strengthen maritime security cooperation.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Technical assistance and guidance to lecturers on how to best apply capabilities of the computer and audiovisual systems.
• Support academic programs as a television camera operator, audio technician, lighting technician, and as a video technician and producer.
• Videotaping, audio taping, duplication and reformatting of media.
• Install, operate and maintain video and audio equipment including LCD projectors, CCTV system, satellite up-linking and down-linking, large-scale public-address systems, portable PA systems and multiple formats in digital and analog audio and video recording.
Required Job Experience:
• Computer hardware and Microsoft operating systems.
• Computer software including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, Roland Cakewalk, Sonar, Sonic, and Nero (other digital recording, editing and duplication software).
• Computer peripherals and interfaces for visual presentations and digital video and audio recording and production.
• Audio, video, VTC, lighting, mixing, recording consoles and equipment and capabilities, limitations, standard and potential applications.
• Operation and maintenance procedures ensuring audiovisual equipment is calibrated, adjusted, operated and maintained at peak condition under various settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interact with senior military, civilian personnel, and distinguished civilian guest speakers, and advise faculty and students on audiovisual matters.
• Security regulations to ensure that security policies and procedures are met.
• Train new audiovisual personnel who will be using audiovisual equipment.
• Electronics and electricity to perform safely required work and emergency repairs.
• Handling, storing, duplication, reproduction and editing of audio and video media.
• Completing federal procurement documents for equipment purchase or repair of equipment.
