Job Description:
Design, develop, and modify front end (UI), database, and/or back end software using Java, Spring Boot, etc.
Test and debug software code for integrated applications.
Develop data queries and scripts for databases and repositories.
Develop templates and reusable DevOps loads for the Ansible/Docker/Kubernetes environments.
Develop test scripts and procedures to drive toward automated and regression testing.
Provide Software (Tier II-III) support for deployed software, scripts, APIs, messaging, and data interoperability.
Skill Requirements
Experience developing software in Java using Spring / Spring Boot
Experience developing software using agile tools and methodologies
Experience developing software in Linux environment
Desired Skills
Full stack Java development experience preferred
Experience developing Front End / UI components with JavaScript/React, OpenLayers, MapboxGL
Experience developing Database components with MongoDB / SQL
Experience developing Back End (server-side) components with Java/Reactor
Experience developing REST interfaces
Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
Experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
Experience with SCM tools (e.g. git) and CI/CD pipelines
Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
