The Naval Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (N-MRO) program is a multi-year initiative designed to modernize and enhance the Navy's maintenance and logistics capabilities, ensuring mission readiness and operational efficiency.

THE WORK

As the Deputy Program Manager for N-MRO, you will play a critical role in driving program execution and supplier performance. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will support cost, schedule, and technical performance while ensuring day-to-day program success. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing program phases, including proposals, software design and development, integration and test, product support documentation, and deployment.
• Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to meet deadlines and achieve program objectives.
• Proactively working across stakeholders to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Leading supplier relationships to ensure successful execution of current contracts and planning for future efforts.
• Supporting business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and strategic planning.
• Domestic travel as required.

• Proven experience in program management, supplier management, and customer engagement.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across stakeholders and functional teams.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance effectively.
• Experience in leading proposals, contract negotiations, and business development efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading inclusive, distributed, and virtual teams to include subcontractors.
• Previous Program / Project Management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to establish positive customer relationship
• Demonstrated business acumen to include EVMS and performance metrics
• Experience identifying and leading through program performance issues.
• Risk and opportunity management.
• Demonstrated team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees.
• Demonstrated proposal management experience
• Must have at a minimum an active Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Program Management Level 1 certified or higher
• Managing software development, DevSecOps, Agile programs
• Commercial software experience
• Previous technical engineering experience
• Experience with U.S. Navy Maintenance processes
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
