Job Description
Responsible for overall management of one large or multiple smaller projects simultaneously. Performs or delegates the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure of projects and/or programs to meet stakeholder requirements. Understands and mitigates project risks and works to ensure all project constraints are known. Works with project stakeholders to eliminate project issues. Manage project budget. Guides project staff to ensure projects and programs are managed in an effective manner to scope, duration (time) and cost. Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show project progress to stakeholders.

Job Description

Understands and mitigates project risks and works to ensure all project constraints are known. Works with project stakeholders to eliminate project issues. Manage project budget. Guides project staff to ensure projects and programs are managed in an effective manner to scope, duration (time) and cost. Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show project progress to stakeholders.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the production of each product, service, or result as defined in the Government tracker; usually time constrained and often constrained by funding undertaken to meet unique predefined objectives as outlined in this PWS.
- Provide distinct technical skills and management strategies to achieve project success.
- Provide support for implementation activities for enterprise solutions, special projects, and organizational changes to include project management, project plan development, engineering solution coordination, deployment, continuous process improvement, and system replacement support.
- Develop Program Management Office (PMO) and project schedules, implementation plans, organization roles, and responsibilities for assigned implementation efforts.
- Analyze and respond to requests for information/plans in a format acceptable to DISA and the MP within prescribed timeframes, as listed in the Government tracker, identified at the start of a project.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Five (5) years of relevant/recent IT Project Manager experience - OR - three (3) years of relevant/recent IT Project Manager experience and a bachelor's degree from accredited college/university with major in IT, engineering, science, or mathematics
Certifications
Security Clearance
- DoD T3 (Secret) clearance is required. Interim T3 clearance is acceptable to start
