OVERVIEW:
BlueHalo is seeking highly motivated System Engineers to join our prime contract. Members of this team perform wide ranging System Engineering activities at the organization level and work with multiple product teams to develop best practices and common System Engineering threads across related projects. Key responsibilities will include: applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases - Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement; interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts; and communicating with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

SALARY RANGE: $130,000 to $158,000

Members of this team perform wide ranging System Engineering activities at the organization level and work with multiple product teams to develop best practices and common System Engineering threads across related projects. Key responsibilities will include: applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases - Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement; interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts; and communicating with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
You'd like to do this:
- Work with a team of Engineers to capture and triage requirements, design system architecture for program continuity, document system architecture using Cameo, interface with stakeholders and product teams, perform Analysis of Alternatives, and assist in future planning activities.
- Use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodology to deliver value to the mission.
- Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
- Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project's technical design.
- Present SE frameworks to the team and government leadership that could be streamlined and implemented across all product teams.
- Researching & developing to include creating documentation, reports and presentations to showcase the work performed for customer feedback and buy in.
You're required to have this:
- EXPERIENCE a minimum of 6 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline and experience with creating documentation including but not limited to CONOPS, SSPs, SOPs, RVTMs, etc.
- EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline.
- Qualified Engineering degree examples include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Related discipline examples include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
- 4 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph
