The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the technical advisor to the Regional FFSP Program Manager (PM) regarding direction and oversight of all Work and Family Life (WFL) Services within the region, including oversight of training, policies, and procedures.

-Serves as primary technical advisor to the FFSP Regional PM regarding WFL services within the region.
-Consults and collaborates with the Regional FFSP PM on policy interpretation and implementation for all WFL services within the region, ensuring regional and local instructions, standard operating procedures, and guidance reflect current directives, instructions, and laws.
-Reviews directives from higher authority to determine potential impact on the organization.
-Develops standardized regional plans, policies, and procedures for the delivery of WFL services.
-Establishes internal administrative procedures to secure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports, and directives and uses own initiative in developing procedures, in order to increase the general now of information and overcome bottlenecks in the administrative process.
-Uses standard approaches to perform a variety of duties related to regional WFL services involving administrative or support issues.
Resources Management duties comprise 20% of incumbent's time and include but are not limited to:
-Provides input and justifications in support of the development and management of the Regional FFSP WFL services budget, which may include contract funds.
-Identifies through data collection and consultation with the Site Managers, the Regional Education Services Consultant (ESC}, and the Regional Counseling and Advocacy Coordinator (CAC), WFL services resource requirements, and recommends allocation of resources for Regional WFL services, providing appropriate and timely feedback to the Regional PM.
-Assists the Regional PM with long range financial planning.
-Provides consultation and collaboration with the Regional ESC to address Regional and installation WFL issues, other Regional Program Managers (e.g., Personal Property, Personnel Support Detachment, Career Counselors, Chamber of Commerce, Department of Labor, Veteran's Affairs, etc.) to address community support issues, and other Regional FFSP WFL Consultants to address installation service delivery and WFL needs and issues across regions.
-Drives from one installation to another to provide advice/guidance and administrative functions.
-Serves as technical consultant for all installation WFL Managers.
-Provides consultation, collaboration, and technical assistance to WLF Managers to address base program operations and service delivery issues.
-Observes and evaluates work performance and reports results to Site Manager/Installation Commanding Officer and Regional Program Manager.
-Participates in the development of regional formal and informal needs assessment tools in order to detem1ine command, Service Member and family needs.
-Assists with focus groups and survey development to ensure that all WFL issues are addressed.
-Receives and reviews customer feedback tools and utilizes them for program improvement.
-Ensures the successful completion of the customer feedback loop by developing and tracking a regional process of collection, evaluation, and implementation of feedback collected through needs assessment and survey tools.
-Researches and resolves customer complaints.
-Collects, monitors, and assesses technical data related to regional WFL services, creates statistical reports, and analyzes trends.
-Conducts research and compilation of data from diverse sources.
-Extracts and assembles information, conducts analysis utilizing standard analytical techniques and develops reports and presentations.
-Participates in regular meetings with management to address management support issues as they relate to WFL services, including financial, administrative, and human resource issues, to resolve problems, and provide recommendations to achieve improvements or cost efficiencies.
