Construction Manager
The Opportunity:
As a facilities manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is cru cia l when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen, you can use your client e nga gement skills to manage project design and construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight.
You'll manage and evaluate construction contractor performance, and integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel. You'll evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests, provide offi cia l weekly project status reports, and prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. This position will require travel.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Experience managing design and construction projects
- Experience working with ICD 705 standards
- Experience with the timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into the Maximo sof tware project management tool for all projects, work orders, and tasks across the project life cycle
- Experience monitoring project schedules and budget s, providing technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction issues, directing design efforts, recommending construction documents for approval, and providing oversight of any follow-on maintenance programs
- Knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems
- Ability to prepare Contractor Performance Report ( CPR ) upon contract closeout
- Ability to assist the client's Contracting Officer ( CO ) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative ( COTR ) with acquisition planning, execution, and administration, and c ond ucting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with construction management, or 10+ years of experience with construction management in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience optimizing performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements
- Experience ensuring integration of all systems, including IT, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
- Experience providing invoices to support information to the COTR for payment
- Knowledge of project scheduling tools and methods
- Ability to c ond uct design reviews with the customer
- Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification
